About me:
I excel in building confidence and skills through the learning of Classical subjects, in fostering an interest in and love for the ancient world, and I am passionate about making quality materials which make learning enjoyable for students.
I have a degree in English and Latin from the University of St. Andrews and a Master’s in Classics and Ancient History from University of Manchester. I worked in English Language Teaching for six years before completing my PGCE at King’s College London. I have spent six years teaching Classics in schools and tutoring Latin and Classical Civilisation online and in person.
Services and Pricing
Professional tuition available over Microsoft Teams (or similar) for one to one or small groups. In-person tuition is also available in Manchester (£5-10 extra). Daytime and evening slots available.
Latin and/or Classical Civilisation for GCSE and A-level: £50 an hour
Latin and/or Classical Civilisation at KS3 and KS2: £40 an hour
Ancient Greek (beginners): £40 an hour
English as a Foreign Language: £30 an hour
Half or full day trips to sites and museums (price on request)
